#LetDaveMoveIn – Contest Rules

Post photos or videos featuring Dave in a Grave using #LetDaveMoveIn and tag VastaHaus on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok. Share as many posts as you’d like—every like and share counts.

All engagement is combined across platforms, and the person with the most total likes and shares at the end of the contest wins.

Must include Dave in a Grave elements in your posts. Open to legal US residents 18+. Void where prohibited.

🏆 Prize:

October 2026 mortgage or rent paid (up to $2,500 USD, one-time payment only)
Applies to primary residence only (proof required)
Plus, your winning trick/scene and a character based on you (or one you create) may be featured in a future Dave in a Grave book

#LetDaveMoveIn Contest – Official Rules

1. Eligibility

Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited.

2. How to Enter

To enter, participants must:

Post original photo(s) or video(s) featuring all or elements of the proprietary Dave in a Grave set
Use the hashtag #LetDaveMoveIn
Tag VastaHaus on each post for tracking purposes
Post on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok only

Participants may submit unlimited entries during the contest period.

3. Contest Period

The contest begins and ends on dates specified by VastaHaus. All entries must be received before the official end time.

4. Judging & Winner Selection

Engagement will be measured by total combined likes and shares across all eligible posts
Engagement will be aggregated across all three platforms
The participant with the highest total engagement at the end of the contest will be declared the winner
In the event of a tie, VastaHaus reserves the right to determine the winner at its sole discretion

5. Prize

One (1) winner will receive a one-time payment toward their October 2026 mortgage or rent, up to $2,500 USD
Prize applies to the winner’s primary residence only
Proof of mortgage or rental payment is required prior to prize fulfillment
No additional payments, months, or financial obligations are implied or included
Prize is non-transferable and may not be substituted or exchanged
The winning post’s trick or scene and a character based on the winner (or a character of their choosing) may be featured in a future Dave in a Grave book at VastaHaus’s discretion

6. Content Requirements

All content must be original and created by the participant
Content must be family-friendly and appropriate
VastaHaus reserves the right to remove or disqualify any content deemed inappropriate or in violation of these rules

7. Rights & Usage

By entering, participants grant VastaHaus a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and share submitted content for marketing, promotional, and commercial purposes without additional compensation.

8. Platform Disclaimer

This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok.

9. General Conditions

VastaHaus reserves the right to:

Modify, suspend, or terminate the contest if necessary
Disqualify any participant who violates these rules or engages in fraudulent activity
Verify eligibility and engagement authenticity

10. Limitation of Liability

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless VastaHaus from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from participation in the contest or acceptance of the prize.
